2. Description of the service
The Website allows you to submit a US phone number for a reverse phone lookup. When you submit a search, you are redirected to our search partner, which completes the search and presents the results. CallerScope does not itself compile, store or sell background reports or personal records.
3. FCRA notice & prohibited uses
CallerScope and its search partner are not consumer reporting agencies as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. (“FCRA”). Information obtained through the Website does not constitute a “consumer report” and may not be used, in whole or in part, as a factor in determining eligibility for:
- consumer credit or loans;
- insurance;
- employment or volunteer positions;
- housing or tenant screening;

Searches are completed by BeenVerified, an independent third party. Once you are redirected, your use of the partner's website and services is governed by the partner's own terms of use and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any third-party website. CallerScope may receive compensation from the partner when you use its services.
5. Accuracy of information
Search results are compiled from public records and other third-party sources that may contain errors, be outdated or be incomplete. Phone numbers may be reassigned, spoofed or unlisted. Neither CallerScope nor its partner guarantees the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or submit searches on the Website;
- interfere with or disrupt the Website, its servers or networks;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website;
- submit false, misleading or unlawful content through the contact form; or
- use the Website in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to CallerScope and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
