Helping people answer “who's calling?”
CallerScope makes it simple to identify unknown callers, screen suspicious numbers and stay one step ahead of phone scams.
Our mission
Unwanted and fraudulent calls have become part of everyday life. According to the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. consumers reported losing more than $12.5 billion to fraud in 2024, and phone calls were the second most common way scammers made contact. We believe everyone deserves a quick, straightforward way to find out who is behind a phone number before they pick up, call back or share personal information.
CallerScope was created to be that first step: a simple reverse phone lookup that starts with an unknown number.
How we work
When you enter a phone number on our website, your search is completed by our search partner, BeenVerified. The partner collects records from sources such as public records, phone carriers, telecom service providers and social media profiles.
We focus on what we do best — a simple, secure search experience and practical guidance on recognizing and avoiding phone scams.
Our principles
- No selling of data. We never sell the phone numbers you search, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
- Transparency. We clearly disclose that searches are completed by a partner and that we may be compensated for referrals.
- Responsible use. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and our service may not be used for purposes covered by the FCRA, such as employment or tenant screening, or to stalk or harass anyone.
